The later living scheme for seniors will sit on the northern parcel of the former Sackville Trading Estate and will be part of the significant regeneration of the wider site alongside an Apache/Moda build to rent scheme of 564 apartments resulting in a thriving intergenerational neighbourhood and radically re-invigorating this part of Hove. These innovative schemes will have extensive public realm and be set in attractive gardens and open spaces. The later living units will be offered either on a for sale or a for rent basis, and will be one of the first schemes of its type to offer large scale professionally managed later living rental apartments. The site is very well located close to Hove railway station, the seafront and the amenities in the nearby Old Shoreham Road. Alongside 260 1 and 2 bed apartments, the development will incorporate extensive amenity spaces including restaurant, café, pool, gym and salon. The scheme is being delivered alongside Audley, under their Mayfield brand, and they will also operate the scheme. This is the second Apache-Audley joint venture following Nightingale Lane, Clapham, which reached practical completion in May 2020.
