BUILD TO RENT - MULTIFAMILY AND SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSING
Together with our joint venture partner Moda as developer and Harrison Street Real Estate and NFU Mutual, we have created one of the UK’s largest privately funded multi-family housing platforms, delivering over 6,000 high quality rental apartments in core cities across the UK. These will be operated by Moda Life Management limited, an operational joint venture between Moda and Apache Capital Partners.
We have invested heavily in our operational platform with Moda, creating a digital-first customer experience that prioritises connectivity and residents’ wellbeing. With a dynamic consumer-facing brand, Moda Living has become recognised as the UK’s most pioneering build-to-rent operator.
We believe that an exceptional rental experience should be available to residents wanting houses as well as city centre apartments, particularly families and downsizers. There is growing demand for housing set in beautiful locations offering the convenience of purpose designed homes, amenities, services and professional management and we will soon be launching the UK’s first purpose-built, inter-generational single-family housing brand.
SENIOR LIVING
One of the most structurally supported areas of residential investment is senior living. We have partnered with leading retirement village brand Audley in one of central London’s first retirement communities, setting new benchmarks for service and desirability, combining lifestyle and flexible care on demand. It builds on our track record creating premium brands in student housing and build-to-rent and follows a series of successful transactions with high quality care homes across the South East of England.
STUDENT ACCOMMODATION
Our purpose-built student accommodation portfolio totaled over 1,750 beds in five prime locations across London, Cambridge and other locations alongside top tier universities.
As well as funding and developing these projects, our in-house teams oversaw marketing, mobilisation and operations after completion, ensuring each was fully let in year one. Upon stabilisation, these projects were exited to major investors including Greystar, PSP and Allianz. The London and Cambridge projects all set new sector benchmarks, achieving record yields upon disposal.
