Lucinda Geikke-Cobb
Front of House & Team Assistant
Lucinda joined Apache in October 2022 as Front of House covering all duties of reception, administration and supporting the wider team with PA duties.
Before joining Apache, Lucinda graduated from The Oxford Media and Business School in 2020 with a business diploma with distinction and since has been in various roles gaining experience as an assistant.
Srijana Gurung
Executive Assistant
Srijana joined Apache in 2022 as a PA providing support to the Chief Executive Officer, the Managing Director, and the Executive Chairman across all aspects of administrative co-ordination and communication alongside managing their schedules.
Prior to joining Apache, Srijana was an operations manager at a fashion company where she oversaw all aspects of the company’s operations from liaising with clients through to production of orders and fulfilment of client needs.
Srijana holds a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design and Technology from the Arts University of Bournemouth (2015). She is fluent in English and Nepali.
Alun Macey
Executive Director, Development & Delivery
Alun is a Chartered Construction Manager and has 19 years’ experience in Project delivery and has held senior roles in the capacity of both the principal contractor and the developer.
He has operated in multiple sectors and at various scales and has relationships across the construction industry having delivered complex construction at Carillion, Bouygues UK and McLaren Group.
Prior to joining Present Made as Development Director, he held the positions of Head of Construction and then Construction & Innovation Director over a five-year period at Pocket Living. During this time, he was responsible for land due diligence, design, innovation, contractor relations, delivery of complex projects, construction and MMC.
At Present Made, Alun is responsible for leading the detailed design, procurement, and delivery functions across all projects.
Mandeepa Dhariwal
Asset Manager
Mandeepa Dhariwal joined Apache in March 2022 and has over 10 years’ experience working in the residential real estate industry, primarily in Prime Central London.
Prior to joining Apache, Mandeepa worked in residential estate management for 7 years, where she focused on maximising value from a residential portfolio located in South Kensington. Mandeepa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Brunel in Politics and completed her NFoPP Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management in 2016.
At Apache, Mandeepa is responsible for the day-to-day asset management of the rapidly expanding purpose built BTR operational portfolio.
Nikki King
Director, ESG & Operations
Nikki graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 with a first class degree in Psychology. Since graduating Nikki has worked in the property industry gaining experience in residential and new homes departments.
Nikki joined Apache in 2016 as Richard’s Personal Assistant and has since been promoted to ESG and Operations Manager. Nikki takes an active role in the coordination and promotion of ESG initiatives within the business and Chair’s Apache’s ESG Committee. Nikki’s background in Psychology has also lead to her taking responsibility for the Human Resource side of the business including selection, recruitment, staff appraisals & induction.
Mervyn Howard
Executive Chairman
Mervyn Howard is Executive Chairman of the Board of Apache Capital Partners and also chairs its Investment and Remuneration Committees. With over 35 years’ real estate and capital markets experience, across major global businesses, Mervyn brings a broad array of expertise in capital raising, acquisitions, structuring, financing, asset management and operations. Over the last four years, he has helped fully institutionalise Apache Capital Partners’ systems and processes, streamlining governance, operations and reporting.
Mervyn previously spent 12 years at Grosvenor, the international development, investment and fund management company, including roles as Board Director and Managing Director of the UK business and CEO of its FCA regulated subsidiary. During the 1990s he held senior positions at GE Capital Real Estate and TrizecHahn Europe. This coincided with a period of great change in the real estate sector which paved the way for the scalable operationalised investment approach to real estate that is now integral to the Apache Capital Partners business strategy.
Martha Ferreira
Senior Associate Director, Interiors
Martha joined Apache in 2018 to lead on the development of our interior design and lifestyle co-ordination. Following a period of time overseas, Martha has now relocated to the UK where she has completed a number of private residential commissions both in the UK and Europe.
Martha brings to Apache many years of experience working as a freelance interior designer with her unique sense of style and flair coupled with a strong project management and budgeting capability and exacting attention to detail. Martha’s role centres around co-ordinating all respective parts of the interior design process liaising closely with our Joint Venture partners and increasingly advising on the formation of aspirational lifestyles across our BTR platform.
Mark Peck
Executive Director, Transactions and Structuring

John Dunkerley – MRICS
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
John Dunkerley, founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Apache Capital Partners, has 30 years experience in property and investment management.
Together with Richard Jackson, John established Apache Capital Partners in 2008 to invest in chronically undersupplied but structurally supported residential sectors. Within 10 years, that strategy has seen Apache Capital Partners help launch Moda Living, the UK’s leading build-to-rent brand, and partner on groundbreaking schemes in purpose-built student accommodation and later living.
John’s role is transactional, and investor focused, with a personal track record of completing in excess of £10bn of real estate transactions. His extensive global network stretches from North America through Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and his investment management skills have cemented his ability to drive value and deliver exemplary returns to long-standing clients.
John’s previous roles include establishing the property arm for BPIM and taking it global, along with spearheading UK investment for Jones Lang Wootton and Fletcher King.
John is a member of PREA and INREV.
Jamie Snary – BSC (HONS), MRICS
Executive Director, Asset Management & Operations
Jamie Snary is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has over 20 years’ experience in operational real estate.
Prior to joining Apache in January 2014, Jamie worked at niche asset management practice, MJ Mapp, for a period of twelve years, leaving as a Director and member of the Business Development Board. During his time with the business, Jamie led the teams responsible for the management of portfolios owned by a range of institutions, funds and development companies as well as heading up the Private Client team which serviced high net worth individuals and family trusts.
At Apache, Jamie is responsible for the successful deployment of all operational real estate strategies across our vertically integrated businesses of multi and single-family Build to Rent.
Jamie is a member of the Apache Executive Committee and also chairs our monthly Health & Safety Committee. Additionally, he is a member of our ESG committee where he is responsible for ensuring all operational management is deployed in line with its policies and guiding principles.
