Mark Peck

Executive Director, Transactions and Structuring

Mark Peck is a real estate investment professional with a private equity and private practice legal background gained over the last two decades. Mark qualified as a lawyer in 2001 and having spent four years in private practice he moved into real estate investment management with particular focus on shari’ah compliant transactions. He has extensive practical knowledge in the due diligence, structuring and funding of acquisitions in a wide range of sectors and strategies and for both development and investment deals. Prior to joining Apache, Mark was Head of Operations for 90 North Real Estate Partners.

Before 90 North, he was Director, Head of European Transactions at HDG Mansur Investment Services Ltd. where he concluded over $2bn worth of transactions in a shariah compliant fashion. Since joining Apache Mark has principally been involved in the Build To Rent strategies, structuring joint ventures, acquisitions and managing the introduction of capital into specific transaction.

John Dunkerley – MRICS

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

John Dunkerley, founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Apache Capital Partners, has 30 years experience in property and investment management.

Together with Richard Jackson, John established Apache Capital Partners in 2008 to invest in chronically undersupplied but structurally supported residential sectors. Within 10 years, that strategy has seen Apache Capital Partners help launch Moda Living, the UK’s leading build-to-rent brand, and partner on groundbreaking schemes in purpose-built student accommodation and later living.

John’s role is transactional, and investor focused, with a personal track record of completing in excess of £10bn of real estate transactions. His extensive global network stretches from North America through Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and his investment management skills have cemented his ability to drive value and deliver exemplary returns to long-standing clients.
John’s previous roles include establishing the property arm for BPIM and taking it global, along with spearheading UK investment for Jones Lang Wootton and Fletcher King.
John is a member of PREA and INREV.

Jamie Snary – BSC (HONS), MRICS

Executive Director, Asset Management & Operations

Jamie Snary is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has over 20 years’ experience in operational real estate.

Prior to joining Apache in January 2014, Jamie worked at niche asset management practice, MJ Mapp, for a period of twelve years, leaving as a Director and member of the Business Development Board. During his time with the business, Jamie led the teams responsible for the management of portfolios owned by a range of institutions, funds and development companies as well as heading up the Private Client team which serviced high net worth individuals and family trusts.

At Apache, Jamie is responsible for the successful deployment of all operational real estate strategies across our vertically integrated businesses of multi and single-family Build to Rent.

Jamie is a member of the Apache Executive Committee and also chairs our monthly Health & Safety Committee. Additionally, he is a member of our ESG committee where he is responsible for ensuring all operational management is deployed in line with its policies and guiding principles.

Jamie is also a Board Director of Moda Life Management Limited which manages all assets in our Multi-Family JV with Moda.

Hannah Monelle

Front of House & Team PA

Hannah joined Apache in 2018 as Front of House and conducts all aspects of reception and administrative duties, providing a friendly welcome to our clients who visit the Apache office. In addition, Hannah also supports the Senior Team as Team PA within her varied role.

Previously, Hannah worked in the hospitality industry including spells in France and Spain working for high end travel companies. Hannah moved to London to work as a Private Nanny before joining the Apache team.

Emma Giannini

Senior Associate Director, Transactions & Structuring, Present Made

Emma Giannini qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2015. Prior to joining the transactions and structuring team at Apache she worked as a lawyer in private practice at both real estate and corporate law firms. While in private practice Emma specialised in structuring and managing real estate transactions with a particular focus on corporate real estate structures and Shari’ah compliant investing and has acted on more than £2bn of real estate transactions.

Emma is involved in all aspects of facilitating transactions at Apache and provides in house legal support to the transactions and structuring team.

Duncan Williams

Acquisitions Director, Present Made

Duncan Williams has over 8 years’ experience in real estate property planning and development having delivered numerous large-scale housing developments. Before joining Present Made, Duncan worked for the housing and mixed-use developer Countryside Properties having joined in 2013.

Duncan held the position of Associate Land Director for the Southern region of Countryside Properties, responsible for site acquisition, development and planning for the region completing over 600 units per annum. Duncan has experience on a wide range of deal structures and has successfully managed joint venture developments with public and private organisations.

Duncan is responsible for sourcing and analysing land transactions, due-diligence, and managing the land acquisition process through to securing detailed planning permission for all new projects.

Denis Aghaizu – ACA

David Williams – BSC (HONS), MRICS

Claire Ezekwe

Senior Associate Director, Transactions & Structuring

Claire Ezekwe qualified as a solicitor in 2010. Before joining Apache she spent eight years as a real estate finance lawyer at an international law firm in the City. In private practice Claire acted for clients including registered providers, developers, asset managers and lenders across the private and public sectors, advising on a range of financing arrangements in respect of both commercial and residential real estate.

Claire is experienced in leading and negotiating complex multi-million-pound finance transactions for corporate structures, incorporating both Shari’ah compliant and conventional debt for both investment and development, with particular focus on the build to rent sector.

Chris Hollidge

Senior Associate Director, Development

Chris Hollidge has over thirteen years’ experience working in the construction industry having trained as a Quantity Surveyor with Davis Langdon (AECOM) prior to moving to become a Project Manager at Buro Four.

At Apache, Chris works closely with our Joint Venture partners on all of our development schemes, as well as liaising with and managing the interests of our lenders and investors associated with these.

Whilst at Buro Four, Chris took a lead role within their residential team, working with a number of high-profile developers delivering a mixture of Build to Rent, private sale and affordable homes across numerous sites in London and the regions. Some of these schemes included extensive master planning and regeneration of previously dilapidated sites.
